Minimum graduate stipends
Effective August 1, 2024
50% (or 20 hours a week) is considered full-time for graduate assistants, graduate teaching assistants, graduate teaching associates, graduate research assistants, and graduate research associates to ensure they have time for their own academic work. The minimum stipends for 50%, 9-month and 12-month positions are prorated for positions that are less than 50% time.

These stipends are minimums. Colleges and administrative areas are encouraged to compensate above the minimum when appropriate.
